Six Americans to Compete in British Open Masters

The 2018 Karakal British Open Masters begin Wednesday, June 6, outside of London.

The event dates back to 1952. This year’s tournament is again being hosted by Colets, the club in Thames Ditton on the southwestern edge of London.

Six Americans are entered in the tournament:  Ed Burlingame in the men’s 80+, Bert Kornyei in the men’s 70+, Will Carlin and Richard Millman in the men’s 55+, Hope Prockop in the women’s 50+, Galen Le Cheminant in the men’s 45+. Prockop won the women’s 45+ draw the last three years; she is the one seed in the 50+.

All six players will represent Team USA later this summer at the World Masters in Charlottesville, July 29-August 4.
