Junior Criteria

Age Divisions: A total of 6 players are invited in each of the boys and girls divisions in the U11 and U13 in the first week and then the U15 and U17 in the second week, bringing together 24 players total for each squad week.

Qualification:

July 9 – 14, 2017 – U11 & U13 age divisions:

A. The top 6 ranked players in their age division as of the February 22, 2017 Rankings Calculation – the rankings run immediately after the Mid-Atlantic JCT – will receive invitations for the US Squash Academy.

B. If one of the top 6 players is unable to participate, the next ranked player from the February 22, 2017 Rankings Calculation will be invited to the event.

C. Players must be age eligible as of March 1, 2017 (the same age eligibility for the 2017 U.S. Junior Squash Championships) in order to participate in the US Squash Academy.

D. All participants must be current U.S. Citizens.

July 16 – 21, 2017 – U15 & U17 age divisions:

A. The top 6 ranked players in their age division as of the February 22, 2017 Rankings Calculation – the rankings run immediately after the Mid-Atlantic JCT – will receive invitations for the US Squash Academy.

B. If one of the top 6 players is unable to participate, the next ranked player from the February 22, 2017 Rankings Calculation will be invited to the event.

C. Players must be age eligible as of July 9, 2017 (the first day of the US Squash Academy) in order to participate in the US Squash Academy: If a players ages-up after July 9 and/or during the academy then they will still be eligible to participate in the academy in the age group they are in as of July 9, 2017.

D. All participants must be current U.S. Citizens.

Dates: The US Squash Academy will be divided into two separate squad weeks for the junior players.

Criteria is currently under review by the National Team Selection Committee, the updated criteria will be announced shortly.
