Team USA’s Amanda Sobhy reached the last sixteen of the third PSA Tour World Series event of the season Tuesday, defeating Australia’s Donna Urquhart in the first round of the 2015 Cathay Pacific Sun Hun Kai Financial Hong Kong Open.

The twenty-two-year-old from Sea Cliff, New York, entered the match having defeated the world No. 23 from Yamba in both of their previous matches on tour, and made it three for three Tuesday morning at Hong Kong Football Club.

Sobhy, who retained her world ranking of eleven this month, defeated Urquhart 11-8, 11-8, 11-5 in twenty-eight minutes. The match is available for replay on SquashTV.

The Harvard graduate will face England’s former world No. 2 and current world No. 14 Jenny Duncalf in Thursday’s round of sixteen. Sobhy and Duncalf will play Thursday on court nine at 1:30pm local time, 12:30am ET.

Men’s and women’s main court matches are streaming on a delayed schedule on SquashTV from the first round of the main draw through the quarterfinals, Friday, December 4.

The semifinals and final are streaming live from the glass court, Saturday and Sunday respectively, on SquashTV and Tennis Channel Everywhere.
