BIO

Tad Carney is one of the top collegiate squash players in the United States and a standout competitor for the Yale University men's squash team. A team captain and No. 1 player for the Bulldogs, Carney has established himself as one of the nation's elite student-athletes through his combination of relentless work ethic, competitive intensity, and consistent success at the highest levels of college squash.

During his career at Yale, Carney developed from a key contributor in the middle of the lineup into one of the top-ranked players in collegiate squash. He earned multiple CSA All-America honors, multiple First Team All-Ivy selections, and reached the semifinals of the CSA Individual Championships. He also helped lead Yale to one of its strongest stretches in recent history, including a runner-up finish at the CSA Team Championships and a return to national prominence among the country's top programs.

Recognized not only for his achievements on court but also for his sportsmanship and leadership, Carney was named a finalist for the prestigious Skillman Award, presented annually to the senior men's player who best exemplifies excellence in competition, character, and sportsmanship.

Known for his tenacity, disciplined approach, and ability to perform under pressure, Carney has become a respected leader within Yale's program and one of the most accomplished collegiate players of his generation.
