BIO
Olivia Weaver (née Fiechter) is one of the most accomplished and dynamic athletes in American squash, known for her precision, resilience, and leadership on the global stage. A fixture in the top echelon of the PSA World Tour, Olivia continues to help redefine what’s possible for U.S. players in the international game.
A Philadelphia native, Olivia grew up playing squash at the Philadelphia Cricket Club and attended Germantown Friends School, where she developed both her game and her passion for competing. She won 3 US junior titles, 2 US Junior Open titles, and represented Team USA at the World Junior Championships for four consecutive years. She went on to play for Princeton University, earning four All-American and All-Ivy honors while completing a degree in Anthropology. After graduating in 2018, she turned professional and quickly made a mark, climbing into the world’s top 10 in 2022—making her one of the highest-ranked American women in the history of the sport.
On the world stage, Olivia has delivered standout performances for Team USA. She was instrumental in the team’s silver-medal finish at the 2022 and 2024 Women’s World Team Championships and contributed to a historic gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Games. She has won 10 PSA titles, is the current U.S. National Champion, and has reached the semifinals of every Grand Slam event this season, demonstrating remarkable consistency and cementing her place in the world’s top 4. With a reputation for tactical intelligence, mental toughness, and on-court elegance, she continues to be a driving force for Team USA.
Olivia lives in Fitler Square, Philadelphia with her husband, Bobby, and splits her time between Philadelphia and Darien, Connecticut, to train under the guidance of Rodney Martin, as well as Graeme Williams and Brigit Roemer at the Specter Center. Her commitment to growth and performance is evident not only in her training but in her off-court pursuits as well.
Outside of squash, Olivia is passionate about all things sport and wellness. She enjoys cooking, playing padel, golf, tennis, and running, and is always on the hunt for her next favorite podcast—particularly those focused on sports, current events, business and entrepreneurship, psychology, high performance, and mental health. A devoted aunt, she loves spending time with her three nieces in Philadelphia and is a loyal follower of her hometown teams across the Philadelphia sports scene.
Deeply committed to giving back, Olivia is actively involved in SquashSmarts, Philadelphia’s urban squash and youth development program, and serves as a dedicated member of the U.S. Squash Board of Directors. As an athlete, mentor, and thoughtful voice in the squash world, Olivia embodies the evolving spirit of American squash—pushing boundaries while staying grounded in community and purpose.
