For the first time since 2022, Team USA has four top-twenty-ranked women following the recent ascendency of Marina Stefanoni and Sabrina Sobhy, who join world No. 11 Amanda Sobhy and world No. 4 Olivia Weaver in the March 3 rankings.
The last time the U.S. had four women in the top twenty, it was Weaver who marked the historic first, joining the likes of the Sobhy sisters and former world No. 11 Olivia Blatchford Clyne.
The world No. 4 now leads the American contingent as the top-ranked American, while Amanda Sobhy maintains her position as one of the top two U.S. women for more than a decade. The 2025-2026 PSA campaign has been one of growth for both Stefanoni and Sabrina Sobhy.
Sobhy missed out on the majority of the 2024-2025 season and dropped outside of the top fifty as she started the season. Sobhy clawed her way back up the rankings throughout the fall, which included the largest title of her career at the PSA Copper St. James Open.
Sobhy started 2026 by reaching the PSA Silver Squash in the Land final and the semifinals of the PSA Bronze Squash on Fire Open, which sent her back to the world’s top twenty for the first time in two years in February.
Stefanoni reached the world’s top twenty for the first time in November after a strong start to the season, but fell out shortly after while remaining in the low twenties. In 2026, Stefanoni reached the second round of the PSA Platinum Windy City Open and Tournament of Champions before reaching her first Gold semifinal at the Texas Open in late February. Her Texas Open performance sealed her return to the top twenty and a new career high of world No. 19.
