Six Americans will compete in the first Platinum event since the return of the PSA World Tour–the CIB Egyptian Open–this weekend in Cairo.

The first two rounds of play will all take place on local courts, October 10-11, before the tournament shifts play to the iconic glass court next to the Pyramids of Giza, October 12-17.

Four of the six members of Team USA will play in the first round on Saturday, October 10.

In the women’s draw, Haley Mendez and Sabrina Sobhy will both make their second appearance of the season following the Manchester Open, and will be aiming for their first wins of the season.

Mendez, world No. 45, will feature in the first slate of matches at 11am local time, 5am ET, against England’s world No. 28 Julianne Courtice.

At 1:30pm local time, 7:30am ET, Sabrina Sobhy takes on local wild card Salma Eltayeb. A victory for the younger Sobhy sister would set up a second round encounter against U.S. teammate and world No. 12 Olivia Blatchford Clyne, who makes her season debut Sunday at 4pm local time, 10am ET.

World No. 32 Olivia Fiechter will make her first PSA appearance of the season against Holland’s Tessa ter Sluis at 4pm local time, 10am ET.

World No. 59 Shahjahan Khan will face Mexico’s world No. 40 Arturo Salazar at 10:45pm ET.

World No. 62 Todd Harrity was a late entrant to the men’s draw following two withdrawals. The thirty-year-old slots into the draw with a first round match against England’s Adrian Waller.

One week after competing in the PSA World Series Finals, world No. 7 Amanda Sobhy enters the draw as the tournament’s seven seed with a first-round match against Belgium’s 9/16 seed Nele Gilis Sunday at 11am local time, 5am ET.
