Team USA’s Todd Harrity won the fourth and largest PSA title of his career, upsetting top seed Mahesh Mangaonkar in the $20,000 HCL SRFI Indian Tour Chennai Leg 1 final Friday, April 2.
Harrity made a strong start in what was his eleventh career PSA final appearance and first since 2018, taking the first two games 11-9, 11-6. The Indian then mounted a comeback by swiftly winning the third and fourth games 11-7, 11-2.
The American emphatically responded in the decisive fifth game, clinching the title 11-0 after fifty-two minutes.
Harrity celebrates his first title since the $11,000 Madeira Open in 2018. The thirty-year-old’s successful start to April also saw him climb three places up the world rankings to world No. 52.
