Sabrina Sobhy, Harrity and Khan Reach Career High Rankings in September

Team USA’s Sabrina Sobhy, Todd Harrity and Shahjahan Khan ascended to career high rankings of world No. 18, 43 and 45, respectively, in September’s PSA World Tour rankings.

Sobhy and Harrity’s performances at August’s British Open sent them further up the rankings. Making just her second career British Open appearance, Sobhy recorded two wins on her way to the third round. Sobhy rises three places from world No. 21, topping her previous career high of No. 20 in January 2021. Olivia Clyne returned to her previous career high world No. 12 following a third round appearance at the British Open.

Harrity’s British Open upset over world No. 36 Tom Richards has sent the thirty-year-old up two positions from world No. 45, exceeding his previous career high of 44 held for one month in March 2019.

Last month, Khan celebrated his first career month ranked in the world’s top fifty at world No. 48. The Seattle-based twenty-six-year-old continues his rise up the rankings three places this month to world No. 45.

Elsewhere the rankings, Faraz Khan moved up three positions to a new career high ranking of 61 and Chris Gordon moved up four positions to world No. 66, his highest ranking in three years.

Amanda Sobhy dropped one place to world No. 6 and Olivia Fiechter dropped two places to world No. 22. Haley Mendez maintains her career high ranking of world no. 41.
