Fifty players will represent Team USA at the 2023 British Junior Open–one of the world’s most prestigious junior squash tournaments–January 4-8, at the Edgbaston Priory Club and University of Birmingham.
The 2023 BJO marks the first edition of the tournament to feature U11, U13, U15, U17 and U19 age divisions fielding the world’s top ranked juniors since 2020, and the ninth annual Team USA trip.

Of the fifty Americans, eleven are seeded to reach the quarterfinals. The U.S. produced a record nine quarterfinalists in 2019 and seven in 2020.
After reaching the U19 final in 2022, U.S. Junior Champion Caroline Fouts returns as a 5/8 seed. Carlton Capella enters the tournament as the only U.S. top seed in the BU13 division, while Isabella Tang is seeded to reach the GU13 final as the two seed.
