Fouts and Douglas Earn PSA World Championship Wild Card Spots

Two-time U.S. junior champion Caroline Fouts and world No. 62 Andrew Douglas will make their debuts at the 2022-2023 PSA World Championships presented by the Walter Family after winning the Wild Card playoffs Thursday, March 30, at the University Club of Chicago.

Douglas first defeated top U.S. junior Hollis Robertson 3-0 to set up a playoff final against world No. 85 Spencer Lovejoy, who defeated Dillon Huang 3-0 in the first round. Douglas sealed his place in his first PSA World Championships 11-7, 11-5, 11-5.

Fouts progressed to the final with 3-0 win over Audrey Berling and faced Britigh Junior Open U17 champion Madison Ho, who upset world No. 65 Haley Mendez 3-2 to reach the final.
