Team USA’s Olivia Weaver leads the forty-ninth edition of the historic Carol Weymuller Open as the top seed, January 26-29, at the Heights Casino in Brooklyn.
The American world No. 10 will hope to go one better than last year when lost in the finals against England’s two seed Georgina Kennedy. Weaver is opposed in the draw by Egypt’s two seed and world No. 11 Salma Hany.
Weaver’s first task hurdle will come against Egypt’s world No. 34 Nadine Shahin Friday afternoon at 5pm ET.
