The U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams will face Germany and China kick in the opening stages of the 2024 WSF Men’s and Women’s World Team Championships, December 9-15, at the Hong Kong Football Club.
Monday, December 11, will see the opening ceremonies of the tournament followed by two rounds of pool play. The U.S. will enter as the highest seeded teams in their four-team pools. In addition to China and Germany, the U.S. men will face Kuwait and the U.S. women will face Scotland.
Both U.S. squads will need to utilize all four players on the roster as it starts the tournament with three matches over the course of two days.
The U.S. men open their tournament against Kuwait at 12:30pm local time, 11:30pm ET, and then take on Germany at 7:30pm local time, 6:30am ET. The men close out their pool play against China Tuesday at 5:30pm local time, 4:30am ET.
The U.S. women open up their tournament on Monday against China at 10am local time, 9pm ET, followed by Scotland at 5:30pm local time, 4:30am ET. The U.S. will close out pool play against Germany at 3pm local time, 2am ET.
Pool play results will determine the positional playoff rounds as Team USA targets qualifying for both 1-12 playoffs.
