The U.S. Junior program will aim to harness the positive momentum from a historic British Junior Open performance this January, with many of the BJO team set to represent the U.S. on the biggest junior stage this summer.

Last year, the U.S. junior women placed second in the world for the fifth time in program history, and this summer the U.S. Junior women will aim to test the hosts Egypt, who have won nine consecutive titles.

“We are excited to build on our success from last year in Houston and from the recent success we had at the 2025 BJO,” said Karim Ibrahim, US Squash Director of Junior National Teams. “This year’s squad will include four returners on the women’s side: Alex Jaffe, 2025 U19 National Champion, and her twin sister Sam Jaffe who carried team USA to massive win against Malaysia last summer in Houston in the semifinals. It will also include Charlotte Pastel & Dixon Hill. Two debutantes for this year’s team will be fifteen-year-old Charlotte Sze and Diya Yadav.”

The U.S. Junior Men reached the World Juniors podium for the third time in program history in Houston, and the team will be aiming to reach the program’s first final this summer in Egypt.

“On the men’s side, Team USA will be looking forward to topple their best ever finish with a squad full of depth and experience,” Ibrahim said. “Leading the charge will Alexander Dartnell, the U19 National Champion and 2025 BJO Finalist as well as Christian Capella who finished 3rd at the BJO. Oscar Okonkwo will be making his return to the team for the second year running. Debutant & sixteen-year-old Jack Elriani will join the team for the first year after finishing fourth at at the BJO U17 while Ahmad Haq & Hart Robertson will be making their debut as well.”
