The eight young men and women representing Team USA at the 2025 Pan American Junior Championships, June 29-July 5, have arrived in Santiago, Chile.

The Pan Am Juniors will have seven gold medals on offer across men’s and women’s individuals, mixed, men’s and women’s doubles, and men’s and women’s team competitions. All four Americans will take part in the three various events as the U.S. aims to build on their 2024 performance of six medals earned in Quito, Ecuador.

The squads are led by Coaches Karim Ibrahim and Nayelly Hernandez.

“This week will be a valuable opportunity for these eight players to experience a high level  of international competition,” said Karim Ibrahim, Director of Junior National Teams. “Many Pan Am Juniors players go on to represent Team USA at the World Juniors and at the professional level, so this event serves as an important step in the Player Development Pathway as our top juniors develop their skill and maturity on court. The Pan Ams are a packed schedule across all three events, and we will need to rely on every player to do their part. We want to come home with new experiences, lessons learned and medals around our necks.”

Detailed draws and schedules will available on Saturday, June 28.

Team USA started its trip in South American with a visit to the American Embassy in Santiago and were greeted by the acting ambassador, Charge D’Affairs, Rick Yoneoka, and the entire embassy staff and sports diplomacy team.
