Team USA’s Marina Stefanoni reached a new career high world ranking of world No. 19 following her first PSA Gold semifinal and back-to-back Platinum second round appearances Monday, February 23.
The twenty-three-year-old American moved up three places in the world rankings following her semifinal appearance at the Texas Open last week–the biggest semifinal of her career so far in just her second season as a full-time professional.
Stefanoni reached the second round of the PSA Platinum Windy City Open and Tournament of Champions over the last two months, which has also helped propel her to a new career high.
Stefanoni tops her previous career high, world No. 20, in November and makes her second appearance in the world’s top twenty.
