BIO
Karim, originally from Cairo, Egypt, grew up playing for Wadi Degla Club and the Egyptian junior national team, achieving notable success by winning the 2023 US Junior Open U17. After moving to the U.S. in 2014, he graduated from St. George’s School and went on to double major in Economics and Business at St. Lawrence University, where he captained the squash team.
For the past three years, Karim has been with USQ, leading the Specter Center programming and currently serving as the head coach of the Junior National Team. He has trained alongside former world #1 Raneem El Welily and coached top players like Olivia Weaver (WR #4) and Youssef Ibrahim (WR #10) and Matias Knusden WR#52. Under his leadership, the Junior National Team achieved historic results at the 2024 World Junior Championships, with the men’s team finishing 3rd and the women’s team finishing 2nd.
