
Twenty-year-old Caroline Fouts will compete in her second PSA World Championships after winning the Pan American qualifier Sunday, April 19, at the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis.
Fouts entered the draw as the three seed and put together a resilient title run with three straight five-game wins to qualify for the game’s biggest stage.
Fouts defeated her Harvard teammate Lucie Stefanoni in a five-game quarterfinal, then knocked out Barbados’ top seed Margot Prow in a five-game semifinal.
The American met twenty-three-year-old Colombian Lucia Bautista in the final, and held off a comeback to seal the qualification 11-7, 12-10, 6-11, 5-11, 11-4 in fifty-one minutes.
Fouts competed in her first PSA World Championships two years ago when she won her opening round of sixty-four match. The 2025-2026 PSA World Championships will take place in Giza, Egypt, May 8-16.
