Team USA’s Todd Harrity and Chris Gordon are through to the $15,000 Oregon Open quarterfinals after recording first-round wins Wednesday night at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland.

Harrity, the four seed, defeated U.S. teammate Chris Hanson in three games and thirty-eight minutes to set up a quarterfinal against Mexican five seed Arturo Salazar.

Gordon, the six seed, also advanced in three games against Seattle-based Pakistani international Shajahan Khan in thirty-six minutes. Gordon will face Argentinian qualifier Leandro Romiglio, who upset England’s two seed Joe Lee in the first round.

Multnomah Athletic Club professional and nine-time U.S. champion Julian Illingworth returned to the PSA Tour in qualifying, and pulled off a five-game qualifying upset against Argentina’s Robertino Pezzota. Romiglio then avenged his countryman against Illingworth in a four-game qualifying final.

Live stream the quarterfinals on the Oregon Open YouTube stream Thursday evening from 5pm local time, 8pm ET.
