BIO

Jesse is a former PSA-ranked squash pro and South Africa's former No. 1, turned mental skills coach and founder of SportMind — a global mental training platform integrated into the World Squash Federation (WSF) coach education syllabus. He holds a Master's in Sport and Exercise Psychology and specialises in helping athletes play free under pressure, from youth level through to the PSA Tour and Olympic pathway.

Jesse is the Mental Skills Coach for Team USA Squash in the build-up to LA 2028, and joined University of Pennsylvania squash as mental performance coach in 2025. The Penn women went on to win the 2026 CSA National Team Championship, only the second national title in program history and their first in 26 years, while senior captain Omar Hafez won the men's 2026 CSA Individual Championship.

On the PSA Tour, Jesse has guided multiple athletes to career-high world rankings. Clients include Amanda Sobhy (World No. 3), Victor Crouin (World No. 5), Tinne Gilis (World No. 5), Aly Abou Eleinen (World No. 9), Sivasangari Subramaniam (World No. 9), and Sabrina Sobhy (World No. 13). Jesse also co-developed the PSA "Success Toolkit," partners with programmes including the Nick Matthew Squash Academy, and is the author of SportMind Daily, a 366-day mental training devotional with a foreword by 2x World Champion David Palmer.

Competing on the PSA Tour, Jesse reached the World Top 50, earned 15 international titles, and represented South Africa at the World Championships and Commonwealth Games.
