Team USA’s Olivia Blatchford recorded two qualifying victories this weekend to reach the NAZA PSA Women’s World Championship main draw at the National Squash Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The twenty-three-year-old American began her first career World Championship campaign with a three-game victory over Colombian and Trinity graduate Catalina Pelaez Saturday.

Blatchford, world No. 27, then sealed her position in the main draw by defeating four-time world championship runner up Natalie Grinham in three games Sunday.

Blatchford has drawn England’s thirteen seed Sarah-Jane Perry in the main draw, whom she will face on the glass court at 2:30pm local time, 2:30am ET, Tuesday, April 26.

World No. 7 Amanda Sobhy will be in main draw action first Monday against New Zealand’s qualifier Megan Craig. Sobhy, the tournament’s seven seed, will play Craig at 12:45pm local time, 12:45am ET, Monday, April 25.
