Team USA Elite Athlete Program players Olivia Blatchford and Chris Hanson reached career-high rankings of world No. 26 and world No. 66 respectively in July’s PSA rankings.
Blatchford, twenty-three years old, moved up one position from a previous career high of world No. 26 for the past three months. The Wilton, Connecticut-native will will compete in the first World Series event of the season next month, the Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Kai Financial Hong Kong Open.
Hanson, twenty-five years old, moved up three positions from a previous career high of world No. 69 in June.
Amanda Sobhy remained in the world’s top ten for a seventh consecutive month, moving back up one position to regain her career high of world No. 7. The twenty-three year old is seeded seventh in the Hong Kong Open main draw.
Two-time U.S. Champion Todd Harrity remains in the world’s top fifty for a fifth consecutive month, maintaining a career high ranking of world No. 45 for the second month in a row. Harrity travels to China next month to compete in the $100, 000 China Open.
Veteran Chris Gordon moved up one position to world No. 59.
