Team USA has earned a total of seven team medals in the 2017 World Maccabiah Games during the first half of the squash competition, July 8-11, at the Herzliya Squash Center in Herzliya, Israel.

The girls U19 team will bring home gold medals after a perfect performance of three, 3-0 round robin wins against South Africa, a mixed USA/Israel team and hosts Israel in the final.

The boys U19 team fell just short of gold, going 3-1 in the round robin with victories over Panama, South Africa and Great Britain, and losing a close final against Israel.

In the adult Open divisions, Team USA claimed silver in both the men’s and women’s competitions with Israel taking gold in both.

The men’s 55+ and both adult and junior mixed squads all earned bronze medals.

The squash competition concludes with the individual draws July 12-16.
