Team USA’s Chris Gordon and Chris Hanson reached the qualifying finals of the $35k PSA Tour Reidbuilt Homes Edmonton Open with three-game victories Monday night in Canada.

Gordon, the top seed in qualifying, defeated England’s Peter Goodings 11-8, 11-9, 11-4, and Hanson, the three seed, defeated England’s Ashley Davies 11-8, 11-7, 11-8.

Both players will vie for a spot in the sixteen-player main draw Tuesday night against difficult opposition. In their first career match up, Gordon, world No. 58, takes on Seattle-based world No. 98 Shajahan Khan at 6pm local time, 8pm ET.

Hanson will face familiar opposition in the form of Mexico’s world No. 116 Arturo Salazar. Hanson has lost to Salazar, former world No. 36, three times in 2015, most recently in the quarterfinals of the RC Pro Series in St. Louis two weeks ago. Hanson and Salazar will play at 7pm local time, 9pm ET.
