Sabrina Sobhy’s run in the 2015 Allam British Open has come to an end after the eighteen-year-old American lost her round of thirty-two main draw match against New Zealand’s former world No. 4 Joelle King Tuesday afternoon in Hull, England.

Playing in her first British Open, the Sea Cliff, New York-native recorded two victories to qualify for Tuesday’s main draw, including her highest-ranked career upset in PSA-sanctioned play Monday over Japan’s world No. 37 Misaki Kobayashi.

King, who was making her first professional appearance since August after a lengthy injury spell, defeated Sobhy 11-8, 11-9, 11-4 in thirty minutes.
