American world No. 10 Amanda Sobhy received the inaugural PSA Women’s Young Player of the Year Award Saturday at the Allam British Open.
The twenty-one-year old was not in Hull receive her award as she awaits graduation day from Harvard University in Boston. The four-time collegiate individual champion broke in the world’s top ten for the first time in her career last September, and won her second U.S. national title and largest title, the Texas Open, in 2015.
The Sea Cliff, New York-native’s next professional tournament is the $100, 000 Alexandria International in Egypt, June 5-10.
