Olivia Blatchford Clyne first rose to prominence at junior level in 2007 when she won the British Junior Open U-15 event and the United States-based player hasn’t looked back since. She joined the Tour a year previously in 2006 and won her first Tour title in 2010.

After splitting time on the professional tour and as a teaching professional in Connecticut, Blatchford Clyne returned to the PSA World Tour full time in 2013 and has been on the ascendancy ever since.

After reaching her first career $70k final in march of 2017, Blatchford Clyne broke into the world’s top 20 ranks for the first time and has maintained her position there ever since. Blatchford Clyne first achieved her career high ranking of world No. 12 in December 17, and returned to her career high in 2020. Blatchford Clyne’s seventh and biggest title came at the $30k Women’s Detroit Pro Classic in 2019.

Blatchford Clyne has twice captured the women’s national singles title, first in 2017 and again in 2019.

Blatchford Clyne is a decorated Pan American Games veteran, having competed in three iterations of the quadrennial games at just twenty-six years old. In 2011, Blatchford Clyne earned two Bronze medals in the women’s doubles and team competitions. In 2015, Blatchford helped Team USA to a record haul with women’s team gold and women’s individual silver in Toronto. Blatchford Clyne repeated her team gold and individual silver as Team USA exceeded its medal record at the 2019 Games in Lima.
