Olivia grew up playing junior squash at the Philadelphia Cricket Club and at Germantown Friends. She represented Team USA four times at the World Junior Championships from 2011-2014. In her senior year of high school, she received the DeRoy Sportsmanship Award for her exceptional demeanor on and off court.
Fiechter attended Princeton where she was a four-time All-American and All-Ivy league player, co-captain and a Richey Award finalist. Fiechter turned professional after graduating in 2018.

In her first professional season on the PSA World Tour, Fiechter rose more than 100 positions in the world rankings from world No. 144 to world No. 39. Fiechter has maintained her presence in the world’s top forty ever since, including a career high ranking of world No. 32 October 2020.

Fiechter’s first PSA title was the $5,500 2018 Rhode Island Open, and second and largest title to was was the $12,000 EM Noll Classic in Philadelphia.
